FAQs

  • We recommend booking for an Initial 45min or 60min appointment if you are a new patient to the clinic, you are an existing patient with a new area of concern or if you have multiple areas that are affecting your quality of life. The longer time frame will allow us to better understand your conditions, diagnose and provide a tailored treatment plan that addresses all these concerns.

For returning patients, we recommend booking a 30min Subsequent session. Although this is shorter, we have already taken the time previously to fully understand your needs and identify the causes of your concerns, 30mins should be sufficient. However, you are always welcome to book a longer Subsequent time slot if you feel you would like more.

For home visits, we do ask that our patients book for a minimum of 60min. We will deduct travelling time so the length of the treatment session will be booking time less travelling time.

  • We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and wearing clothes that allows the physiotherapist to assess your area of concern. For example, if you have a knee issue, please wear shorts, a skirt or dress above your knees so that we can see how your knee moves and feel the muscles and ligaments around the knee.

If you have a foot or ankle issue and you are on your feet often than please bring the shoes that you normally wear.

Although we have access to many imaging facilities, for us to make the most of our time with you, please email any relevant images ahead of time or bring relevant X-Rays, scan reports, Drs referrals or Medicare EPCs.

If you are claiming a private health rebate, please bring your health insurance card and we will process your health claim on the spot.

If you have a Medicare EPC referral, please bring your EPC and Medicare care card. You will pay for the session up front and we can process your Medicare for you.

  • It’s ok! We will bring our exceptional service to you! We believe that great health care should be accessible to everyone so you can book a Home Visit (minimum 60min) or you can book a Telehealth consultation with us.

  • There is no general answer. It’s different for everyone and also depends on the condition. We will however, make a comprehensive assessment of the issue and provide advice on prognosis, discuss with you the treatment plan, provide treatment during the session and if applicable, send you a personalised home program to help get you back to doing what you love sooner.
